An afternoon by the sea
It was 2pm when we decided to jump in our car to drive to Margate. The sea called and we answered. Some days can start at whatever time you make for it. Margate seemed to wait for us and stretched its time for us to grab food before a warm and lengthy sea swim, twilight was suspended so that we could jump on a fun fair ride and take pictures of abandoned lidos.
By the time the sun had set, we tucked our wind whipped hair and sand soaked towels into the car and drove home with a holiday spent in an afternoon by the sea.
